About Me

Tanu dark rock

I’m Tanu Joshi, a compassionate clinician dedicated to supporting children, teens, and young adults in their mental health and developmental journeys. My experience spans a variety of clinical settings, working with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as neurodiverse populations. I understand that navigating a child’s mental health and development can be complex and challenging. To provide comprehensive support, I place great importance on building collaborative relationships with each child’s care team, including doctors, teachers, and allied health professionals, so we can work together to support you and your family.

I offer a range of evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of each child and family. My approach integrates therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy. I’m also certified in delivering specialised programs, including Circle of Security, the Westmead Feelings Program, and the Cool Kids Anxiety Program.

In addition to therapy, I conduct comprehensive behavioural and developmental assessments, providing thorough diagnoses for Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, and Giftedness.
